Terms and Conditions of sale
Digitool (www.digitool.store we or us).
These terms and conditions apply to all customers of Digitool.
By placing an order, it is assumed that you have read and agreed to all the terms and conditions.
1. Quotations and Pricing
1.1 Quotations are valid for 14 days subject to stock and availability.
1.2 Internet orders are subject to acceptance and availability confirmed by Digitool.
1.3 All Quotes/Prices exclude GST unless otherwise stated or requested by the customer.
1.4 Digitool reserves the right to modify quotations accordingly to suit goods required.
1.5 Prices and quotations are given at Digitool’s discretion.
1.6 Price Lists may vary and change due to the fluctuating nature of the Steel Manufacturing Industry.
1.7 Digitool are not obliged to give customer loyalty or quantity discounts.
2.1 Full payment for goods must be made at time of ordering unless otherwise agreed with a member of the sales team.
2.2 In the event of a failure of payment, we reserve the right to charge interest.
2.3 Under no circumstance are goods to be taken without payment.
2.4 Digitool do not offer any form of payment plans, part payments or finance.
2.5 Digitool do not / will not sell / distribute any of the customers personal or payment information onto any third party.
2.6 You may cancel a payment made on this website within 24 hours of making the order by sending an email quoting your order number or by quoting the date of payment, postcode and the name of the person who made the payment.
3. Amendments and Cancellation
3.1 All cancellations and amendments must be made prior to the Dispatching of the goods . Once the goods are in the process of being Dispatched, we are unable to amend or cancel them.
3.2 In the event where a customer wants to cancel/amend an order and the goods have already been made, the customer is liable to pay for the goods.
3.3 Should a customer require to add to their order, we cannot guarantee that the additional goods will be ready to collect/deliver at the same time as the original order.
3.4 We reserve the right to cancel an order if we have insufficient stock, we do not deliver to your area and one or more of the goods are listed at the wrong price.
4. Delivery Terms
4.1 We will use cover sheets but we cannot guarantee that (especially polyester coated) products will be 100% scratch free on delivery.
4.2 Delivery charges depend on your location and not by quantity ordered.
4.3 Once the goods have been dispatched delivery charges are non-refundable.
4.4 We aim to deliver products as soon as possible which will be around 10-14 days for Pan India.
4.5 Customers will be notified where possible 2-3 days in advance of delivery to confirm a morning or afternoon delivery slot.
4.6 We do our best to work with our customers’ delivery requirements but we cannot guarantee delivery on any specific date requested by the customer.
4.7 On large and/or long distance orders, we may use external haulage which will be covered at the customer’s expense.
4.8 It is the customer’s responsibility to provide us with correct contact details and access information where necessary (E.g. weight/length/height restrictions to roads and bridges). Failure to do so will result in the delivery being postponed and a re-delivery charge being incurred.
4.9 It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange for safe unloading of the goods. The customer or someone on their behalf must be present to unload, check goods and sign paperwork.
4.10 On delivery, the customer or relevant person must check the goods carefully and sign the delivery note once satisfied. Once the goods have been signed for, Digitool are not obliged to exchange, refund or replace products.
4.11 If any damage is apparent on delivery, please notify the driver or contact Digitool’s office immediately, this must be done before the driver leaves your property.
4.12 Responsibility of damage or loss of goods is the customer’s responsibility once the products have been signed for.
4.13 Where a customer/relevant person is not available to accept or sign for the goods, the driver will leave the goods in a safe place. By a person not being present to sign/accept goods – it is assumed that you accept the goods to be left in a safe pace. The driver will take a photo of the goods left in a safe place for our records, to show completion of the delivery and to confirm the condition of the goods (any loss or damage to goods, past this stage will be the customer’s responsibility).
4.14 Drivers of Digitool will only deliver goods to the confirmed address on the order/delivery note.
5. Returns and Exchanges
5.1 We expect our products to meet high standards, but in the event where a customer is un-satisfied with their product the office staff of Digitool must be informed of this as soon as possible and correct product/purchase/invoice information and explanation must be given.
5.2 Once goods have been signed for, Digitool are not obliged to exchange, refund or replace products.
5.3 Digitool cannot refund a customer or replace a product if the incorrect item has been ordered by the customer.
5.4 All exchanges, refunds and returns are to be discussed and authorised by, and only by the company director.
5.5 Bespoke goods which are not deemed to be faulty cannot be returned.
5.6 Digitool operate a 14 day return policy for non-custom made items such as accessories/fixings, these can be returned for a refund within 14 days of the delivery in original new unused condition with original/sealed packaging. Please notify us if you wish to return goods within 14 days, this needs to be done by email to email@example.com accompanied by a copy of your invoice and delivery note. We recommend the items to be sent via signed/tracked service, the cost of returning items is solely the customers responsibility. We will refund once received/inspected and signed for by a Digitool member of staff.
We will not be held responsible for items lost in transit.
6. Collection Orders
6.1 We will do our best to make all “collection orders” within 5 working days.
6.2 Any amendments to a sales order may lengthen the time taken to manufacture the goods.
6.3 Digitool will contact the customer once the goods have been manufactured.
6.4 All customers collecting from the business unit must understand that it is a working and dangerous environment.
6.5 On a customer’s arrival they must report to the office, they will be seen to as soon as possible but may be required to wait until a staff member is available.
6.6 It is the customer’s responsibility to supply their own straps and secure their own loads.
6.7 Our staff will only load suitable flatbed lorries & flatbed trailers. Anyone collecting should wear suitable gloves and clothing, they must also be physically capable to load. Our staff will not load any vehicles with roof racks, cattle lorry, horse box or fixed sided trailers. Management reserve the right to refuse loading of a vehicle for any reason.
7. Storage of Materials and Goods
7.1 All goods and materials supplied by Digitool are stored on site, under the supplier’s instructions.
7.2 We will advise customers to the best of our ability on guidance of the storage of their goods but Digitool will not be liable for any loss or damage on the goods stored by the customer.
8.1 Digitool will not be responsible for damage, injury or death caused by incorrect/poor transportation, handling, installation or similar with the goods supplied.
9.2 Digitool will not be responsible for any consequential loss, loss of financial profits and damage to equipment, site or property.
9. Digitool Site Rules
9.1 All persons who enter the Unit of Digitool accept and understand that the unit is a busy, working and dangerous environment.
9.2 All persons who park their vehicles in/at the unit, do so at their own risk.
9.3 There is a zero tolerance for carelessness and abusive behaviour at the unit. Any persons in the unit deemed to be a distraction or a danger to themselves or other people will be asked to leave.
9.4 No children under the age of 16 or animals are to be brought in the unit, they must remain safe in vehicles.
9.5 It is the visitor’s responsibility to dress safely and accordingly.
10. General Terms and Conditions
10.1 All rights (including copyright) on our website are owned by/or licensed to Digitool. Any use of our content (including copying or storing it) other than for your own personal, non-commercial use, is prohibited without permission via a written notice.
10.2 We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
